Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 22, 2026

1. Introduction

Dry Ground Capital LLC dba Dry Ground AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates CompanyClaw, an autonomous AI operator for businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit companyclaw.ai or use the CompanyClaw service.

By using CompanyClaw, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account information: Name, email address, company name, and billing details you provide when creating an account or subscribing.
  • Business tool data: When you authorize CompanyClaw to act on your behalf, it reads and writes to connected tools such as email, calendar, CRM systems, and documents. This data is processed to perform autonomous operations on your behalf.
  • Knowledge graph data: CompanyClaw builds a structured knowledge graph about your company from the data you provide and from connected tools. This includes contacts, company processes, communication history, and business context.
  • Usage and telemetry: Logs of actions taken, workflows executed, tokens consumed, and operator hours used. We use this to operate, bill, and improve the service.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and session data collected automatically when you access our website or dashboard.
  • Support communications: Records of correspondence when you contact us for help.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the CompanyClaw service
  • Execute autonomous actions on your behalf across connected business tools
  • Build and maintain your company's knowledge graph to improve operator accuracy over time
  • Process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship
  • Send transactional emails related to your account, usage, and subscription
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Communicate material changes to the service or this policy

4. AI Processing and Model Inference

CompanyClaw is an AI-powered autonomous operator. To perform tasks on your behalf, your data is processed by large language model (LLM) inference engines. We use inference services provided by Anthropic and OpenAI (our "AI Providers"). When you use CompanyClaw:

  • Relevant portions of your business data (emails, calendar events, documents, CRM records, and knowledge graph context) are sent to AI Providers to generate actions and responses.
  • We configure our AI Provider agreements to limit data use: your data is not used to train their foundational models under our enterprise agreements with those providers.
  • CompanyClaw may use anonymized, aggregated usage patterns to improve its own operator logic and task-planning systems. This does not include your raw business content.
  • All plans include a dedicated VPS for agent hosting. All sensitive data processing uses GPU infrastructure owned and operated by Dry Ground AI. On Pro, the GPU pool is shared among Dry Ground AI clients with container isolation. On Enterprise, you receive a dedicated GPU exclusively for your organization. On Private, all infrastructure is on your premises.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with third-party providers only as necessary to operate the service:

  • Stripe: Payment processing. Your payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your billing data.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery (account confirmations, usage alerts, billing notifications). Email addresses and message content are shared only to the extent required to deliver messages.
  • AI model providers (Anthropic): By default, interactive conversations are processed by third-party AI model providers. All automated processing of sensitive data (email, financials, documents) runs exclusively on Dry Ground AI's private infrastructure and is never shared with third-party providers. You may opt into fully private inference mode to keep all processing, including conversations, on our infrastructure. Data shared with AI providers is governed by our enterprise agreements.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers: Hosting, storage, and compute for the CompanyClaw platform. Data is stored in secure, access-controlled environments.

We do not sell your personal data or business data to third parties. We do not share your data for third-party advertising purposes.

6. Operator Access to Business Tools

CompanyClaw operates autonomously inside your business tools. When you grant access to a tool (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, a CRM, or a calendar system), CompanyClaw may:

  • Read emails, calendar events, contacts, and documents to understand context
  • Draft and send emails, schedule events, and update records on your behalf
  • Access connected databases, CRM platforms, and project management tools

You control which tools CompanyClaw can access through your dashboard. You may revoke access at any time. Revoking access stops future operations but does not automatically delete data already ingested into the knowledge graph. Contact support@dryground.ai to request deletion of specific data.

7. Data Isolation Between Tenants

All customer data is isolated by tenant. Your business data, knowledge graph, and operator history are never accessible to or visible by other CompanyClaw customers. Isolation is enforced at the data layer regardless of your subscription tier. Enterprise and Private tiers provide additional infrastructure-level isolation (dedicated instances or on-premise deployments).

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Specific retention periods:

  • Account data: Retained while your subscription is active. After cancellation, account data is retained for 90 days to allow reactivation, then deleted.
  • Knowledge graph data: Retained for the life of your subscription. You may request deletion of specific records at any time.
  • Action logs and telemetry: Retained for 12 months for billing verification and debugging, then purged.
  • Billing records: Retained for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to operate the website and dashboard. For detailed information, see our Cookie Policy.

10. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard practices.

11. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to deliver the CompanyClaw service you subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests: Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
  • Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Consent: Where we ask for your explicit consent (e.g., marketing communications).

12. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

13. Children's Privacy

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website before the change takes effect. Your continued use of CompanyClaw after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
